6 month stats

On Thursday we went to the Dr for her 6 month apt (I guess technically 6 1/2 month apt). Anyway, she is 19 lbs 10 oz (95%) and 27 1/2 inches long (90%). She also had to have more of the booster shots plus her flu shot-to ice it all she seems to have aquired a small case of stranger anxiety so she was already crying bc of the nurses. This set has proved to be a little more challenging as she seems much more discontent-let's hope it passes soon since Brad is up north hunting. In case I don't post before Thanksgiving, we hope that all who read this blog have a blessed Thansgiving! God Bless.

I'm 6 months old!

Once again I figured Iwould try to take her pictures before paying to have them done. It was a little harder this time bc there is so little natural light this time of the year (especially bc most days we get home as the sun is setting) but I managed to get a few. I ordered them finally today and hopefully they will be here soon. Other than that Allee has been growing like a weed. She actually goes for her 6 month apt this Thursday (yes I know she is closer to 7 than 6 by then but we got off at her 4 month apt bc of the start of school then the Dr had to reschedule). Anyway, she now has her front teeth top and bottom and is getting the top outside 2 and I think maybe even the ones on the outside of those (that would be 8 teeth total!). She is sitting up and playing away now. It is so much fun to watch her grow and discover-we are so blessed! Brad is on a mission to teach her to crawl-it is really cute and we will see. I keep telling him not to rush it bc 1. I will cry (bc she is growing and changing so fast-it makes me sad) and 2. he will have to pick up everything he tends to leave on the floor. I will be sure to post stats later this week.

Allee's new friend

Brad has been antsy to get a cat agian. I have been hesitant bc I then have to watch the pacis and toys more closely. Anyway, last weekend I was won over and Allee now has a new alley buddy-its name is MooMoo (Brad named it so don't bug me about it!) :]

More Halloween pics...

Last year, before we knew we were having a girl, I bought this corncob costume. While I still thought it was adorable I decided I wanted something a little more girly-hence the flower. I could not let it go to waste so I took a few pics. She actually fell asleep while wearing this (it must have been nice and cozy warm inside!)

Jammies Aunt Wendi bought her last year...

I love this outfit! She wore it to daycare on Friday (and yes I realize orange may not be her color!)

A Fall Flower...

Allee's 1st Halloween was a ball! We started at my Mom's so we could see Jenna before she went to her dad's. Then my Mom and Travis got home and Grandma Boetsma stopped over so she could see her (one less time of taking the costume off and putting it back on! Thanks Gram) Then we headed off to Brad's parents to see them and the cousins, everyone was so cute (Jenna was the cheerleader/Hunter Dale Jr/Hudson a bat/Kennedy the poodle/Allee the flower). THen we rushed home and caught the tail end of trick or treating in the neighborhood (I was so excited to pass out candy since we never had that growing up or at the old house-I am a dork-yes).

Boetsma Hayride

A few weeks back we had the annual Boetsma hayride and pumpkin patch. As always, it was a good time (even if it was a bit chilly)
