I thought I'd give taking Allee's 3 month pics a whirl before I paid to have it done-espcially since by the time I would get them back and to everyone she will be ready for her 6 month pics! Anyway, i took over 350 shots (many were blurry-but I tried!) Here is a link to the "finalists" and some that I just liked bc of her expression. Happy looking!

Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'
I only have a minute but I wanted to share a few Allee updates:
1. She is now scooting herself into the bottom corner of her crib when she sleeps
2. She has figured out how to roll over from her stomach to her back-the first time she did it she looked at me like "what did I just do?!"
3. And the best?!?! She slept through the night last night!!!! Yea!!!! She fell asleep about 9 and woke up at 645-NICE! Here is for hoping it was not a fluke thing!

The Wedding...
Congratualtions to Dave and Wendi who were married Friday night. Everything was perfect and we had beautiful weather-nice since it was outside! :] It was, of course, bittersweet since my dad was not there but we all made it through. One of my favorite moments was when Jenna and I were looking out the window at all of the people and she looks at me, balls her fists and shakes them and says, "Aunt Nae, I am sooooo excited!" Then she reached up to give me a hug-so cute. Another was watching my brother walk Jenna to the bottom of the steps, the juxtaposition in size was adorable. Yet another, after Travis let go of her hand he told her to run to me up front, she can be shy sometimes and that was a lot of people looking at just her!, anyway she started to run but her sandle caught up in the grass and she tripped. When she looked up I thought for sure the tears were coming and she wouldn;t make it but she just started to pick up the flowers that fell out of her basket and then ran to me--I can't wait to see the pics and video! There are so many other great memories... I pray God blesses these two wonderful people! And Dave and Wendi, thanks for letting Brad and I play such important roles in your special day-we love you guys!
Last Weekend...
Allee with Great Grandma and Grandpa Overway
Allee has started scooting herself around her crib when she sleeps. At home most of the time she just scoots from the top of the crib to the bottom. When we stayed at the cottage she slept in the pack in pay and because it is a little slippery managed to almost do a 180! Too funny!
The cousins: Allee, Hunter, Hudson, Kennedy
Last weekend was super busy. Friday night Brad and I went out for dinner for our Anniversary (4 years already!) to Red's on the River in Rockford. I HIGHLY recommend it-great food and great service-totally worth the drive and cost!
Saturday we went to spend the day with Brad's parents on Hutchins Lake (it was their annual week at the cottage). The guys went golfing and the girls/kids hung out by the lake. At night we went back to Zeeland for Jenna's birthday party (I can't believe she is 3 already! Sometime she seems like she is 10 though!) We went back to the cottage and spent the night.
On Sunday all of Brad's siblings came out with the kids and we played in the water etc... at night we grilled and hung out. It sure was a busy weekend but we had a ball!

Oddly Thankful...
Today I am oddly thankful for:
-3am feedings
-dirty diapers
-snotty noses
-spit-up
-a crying baby in the car, Target, church...
-worrying about Allee
-the extra "baby fat"
-sleep deprevation
-and all that "stuff"
WHY??? because each of these things means I have a happy, healthy baby at home to love each day and in the past few weeks and months I have been reminded how many people struggle with infertility, miscarriages, pre-term labor, early delivery, frustrating/failed adoptions, and even the death of a child. My prayer is that Brad and I continue to be blessed and that those struggling with these issues may be blessed too...
On a happy note--Congratulations to Pete and Stacey on the birth of a healthy baby boy, Jace Timothy. I hope all the best for them and welcome to parenthood!
On a serious note--a childhood friend and his wife lost their 18 month old daughter in an a freak accident last week. Please keep the Busscher and Frieling families in your thoughts and prayers as they grieve and embark on the road ahead.
